At Trinity Community Services, we believe that solutions can be found by modifying the tasks or environments to better meet the needs of the person living with a disability. We support all such skills that people need to live at their most independent level. Skills for working, playing, learning, and daily living all contribute to someone living their most purposeful, meaningful life.
To assist participants to manage these challenges, we offer a range of training and development activities, aimed at building their capacity to manage day‐to‐day life, through the development of their knowledge, skills and networks of support. Trinity Community Services can support you with your Daily Living Skills. We can help you to do tasks on your own, or with our assistance when needed, so you can live a happy and fulfilling life – a life you choose.
The following are all examples of daily living skills (Independent Lifestyles):
- Personal hygiene
- Dressing and clothing care
- Health care
- Cooking, eating, nutrition
- Home management and home safety
- Financial management
- Personal growth, awareness, and problem solving
- Community access
